These people were working to support their families. They weren't hurting anyone. And there will not be hoardes of people coming to fill those jobs. Also, this was the second day of school there. Several kids came home to learn their parents had been taken and are now being taken care of by people in the community. This was done on purpose to demoralize people and incite fear.
