I lived in Europe before and trust me, it's not half as big as thing as it is in North America and its also harder to find decent tasting pizza as well I know but Italians literally made it. It was eaten by Italian immigrants for decades before it ever became mainstream in the US. Plus, there are different pizzas. There's the American one and then there are more 'authentic' places which make it more Italian style. Or at least that's what I've seen around my area. Some locations do it great while others are sh*t The 2 for 1 near me when I lived in Toronto was one of the best pizzas I could ever get while the closest 2 for 1 to where I live now in the suburbs is very mediocre. Nnnnnnnnnnnn Everytime I go to Europe to visit my family and they suggest pizza for food I run Sorry but they are so flat, and the flavour is so bland on most of those pizzas I dunno about Northern Europe. But Southern Europe has real sh*t pizza. Anyone that thinks American pizza isn't real pizza and thinks that other reductive version is better is delulu I say this as a proud Portuguese that loves to brag about how great Portuguese, European and Mediterranean/southern european food is and how amazing the restaurants are there too!
