I have a mild sensitivity to gluten which triggers my IBS sometimes and on the days I feel worse I don't risk touching gluten

 

On the days I can't have gluten but I feel like having pizza dominos is a life saver in that sense

 

Tried gluten free pizza from 2 for 1 and it was like eating pure card board

I mean, yeah, that is smart moves tbh, more people in USA enjoy delivery than dine in for pizzas. I am talking the franchise ones.

They will fare better to run as delivery only business.

Papa John's is obviously the best  Hungry Howies is a close second (except for the gas station ones), then Pizza Hut, and Domino's and Little Ceaser's are tied with frozen pizza as being cheap and easy slop

But the main point is there is no such thing as bad pizza. Unless it has pineapples on it. Then it's bad pizza.

Depends on the definition of pizza

 

The Italians did invent pizza sort of. But it was a simpler version of pizza. The modern pizza was invented by Italians in NYC

 

So although Italians may have invented it... If what we know as pizza in modern times was upgraded in NYC... Then if ur asking if the US has real pizza then the answer is yes

 

They upgraded the original pizza and made it better

 

What they invented in Italy (the original pizza if you will) was just bread with cheese and I think tomato sauce yes but it wasn't like the pizza now although it was a simmilar concept

 

It even has a different technical name but I can't remember what it is now

The Americans made it better in your opinion, right? Here in Brazil American pizza like Pizza Hut and Domino’s is not even considered real pizza. We have our own spin in it but it is very much like Italian pizza in the sense that it’s not fried and it’s not a greasy mess.

I've never eaten fried pizza and I live in North America

As someone who works at a Pizza Hut restaurant in the UK, I’m shook. Our restaurants are still so busy, we even have a Deliveroo option so people can get their food delivered if they want 

EDIT: also by the sounds of it, Pizza Hut in US seems to make entirely different pizzas to ours so not surprised 500 stores are closing in that case
