skedaddleBItCh 2,809
Gaga not enjoying herself? She's smiling all the time and her energy is contagious. ******** Gaga sloppy at dancing? I suggest you all to look at her performance of LoveGame and Beautiful, Dirty, Rich, also Born this Way. She's literally dancing her ass off during Enigma. To be honest, she never danced this way ever since BTW. ******** Minimal choreography? Aren't her choreographies supposed to be minimal though? I thought you all love minimal and simple choreos?🙄🙄🙄 ******** Cheap stage? No. Just, no. ******** Already seen and heard storyline? ... oH rEaLlY? BTW Ball storyline wasn't even that unique. ******** Outfits, wigs, and makeup, plainly horrible? I can't with you all. This excuse to make Enigma a horrid one is so overused. It's part of the Aesthetic. You, of all people, should already know that she's all about artistry and not beauty. 🇵🇭༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽🇵🇭
TheBatman 951
There just isnt artistry or creativity involved, no evolution, it's actually less interesting than shows she created only a few years into her career. Superbowl was really great even though it only celebrated her heyday, Coachella was cool even though same story just re hashing her past biggest eras, but now Enigma continues the trend of being a legacy act and just celebrating what she did in the past. Us fans who were around since the beginning miss the performer and artist who took huge risks, experimented, and constantly evolved. Engima doesnt have a soul, the costumes makeup and wigs are some of the worst in her career, and she doesnt seem all that into it herself.

I'm sure it's a great show live and it IS a great show and hoping to see it live. But it is tacky. Hopefully LG6's tour is more cohesive in its theme like the BTWBall How about she not tour for LG6 at all instead?
Miel 15,009
There's a lot that I could say about ENIGMA, but to make it as concise as possible: In person, the show in incredible. Her musicianship is fantastic, and you can tell her and her team are having a blast. The stage looks better when seen in a holistic manner. Through videos online, the show looks like sh*t. Awful. Whew boy. 3 points in and ready for more
Miel 15,009
Also, I've warmed up to the wig and hair, but at least half of the outfits are still questionable to me. That second, black latex outfit is... uhh... bad. 3 points in and ready for more
Bling 31,386
In addition to what many have already mentioned here, I think there are several other factors we may not be discussing. In short, after 3 years since ARTPOP many fans were eager for Gaga's next step and sound. When Joanne arrived in 2016 the sound was a STARK contrast to what made many fans fall in love with her, dance music. Also, Joanne is a very rock and country inspired album, very Americana. Therefore I can see why many non-Americans weren't into it. Some supported it, I think as a "Ok well the NEXT one is going to be back to what we love. " The JWT international dates were cancelled (well...postponed then cancelled again) which left many non-American fans frustrated. Then it was announced that ASIB was happening and the music turned out to be very rock, Americana inspired as well. Still not very universal for a world stage but the album/film and Shallow ended up doing really well internationally. Enigma was announced with super GAGA imagery and it was probably thought "Ok, here's the Gaga we know. Look like she's about to serve some serious dance music." Then Enigma premiered and there was no new music, no new arrangements, same songs she's been performing for years, same choreo, same storyline as BTWB, and arguably not her best tour/performance/set. All this wrapped around the fact that again, 90% of her fans wouldn't be able to go. So there's a lot more involved than Enigma itself. I think many fans are tired of waiting for the Gaga they have missed, the pop-dance bitch that doesn't give a **** what anyone thinks. The whole Joanne + ASIB + Oscar era at times felt inauthentic and drawn out. I think many fans are tired of waiting, either for a tour date in their country or for dance music that inspired them again. Just my thoughts. I'm an American monster and still can't afford to go. I can only imagine how my international monsters feel.

MAC 1,942
To me it is just very boring and nothing new. Same song arrangements as always. Mostly the same choreography. Outfits and hair that look cheap like others have said (I do like the first outfit). Not my fave show she has done. I do like that she put some songs in there that we had not heard in a while. RAMROD 109,541
Let's just be real, if all of us can be honest, the root of all their anger is down to jealousy and bitterness cos they can't afford that kind of money to attend the show. So they cope it by viewing it as lower quality than her other shows to make them feel better for missing it. The sour grapes is real. It's very real. Not really, I was not able to attend BTWB but it's one of my favourite tours, not being able to see it in real life made it even more special, I have watched many videos of it over and over again. Meanwhile I did not bother with Enigma past the first show after seeing the mess that it is.
