When Tony Bennett was making is Collabs Vol.2 project that starred Gaga in 'Lady Is A Tramp', he made a song with Amy Whinehouse. She cried in an interview when she talked about her, and she talked about her again in that scene from FF2. She was extremely affected by her death, so it *could* be real; she didn't look THAT devastated when David Bowie passed away, and yet he was her idol

Also, @Craig Barnes Michael didn't want to "collaborate" with her per se but he was very impressed seeing the Poker Face video and he wanted her to be one of the opening acts for his This Is It concerts at the O2 Arena in London. He died during rehearsals

Like how the autotune in SHICD is there to make her purposely monotone I never noticed the autotune in SHICD She used it way too much in Speechless though

I guess I can speak about it now. I was actually asked to open for Michael on his tour. We were going to open for him at the O2. And we were working on making it happen. And I suppose there was some talk about the openers doing some duets with Michael onstage. But Michael's death was devastating for me regardless of whether I was supposed to go on tour with him." @Craig Barnes @Loeppke

Didymus 34,379
@Craig Barnes @Loeppke @KEVIN STEVE There's also a RedOne interview where he's asked about if Michael ever said anything about Gaga (RedOne worked with Michael shortly before his passing), and RedOne answered: "Michael Jackson loved Poker Face. He said it's written by a genius."

She apparently wanted to collaborate with Gaga, and she was down for it... but sadly Amy passed away It is possible that this is true but I doubt it because Amy notoriously hated pop stars and pop music in general so I don't think she would have been dying to collab with Gaga, especially back in 2011 when she was the epitome of "pop star." In this video she says "there is no such thing as good pop music" (time stamped) and earlier in the video she shades Madonna, Xtina, Britney, Kylie and Dido, so my guess is she prob wouldn't have been rushing to work with Gaga at that time. My guess is if she were alive today to see Gaga now she would probably love to work with her, but Amy only lived to see TF, TFM, and half of the BTW era back when everyone thought she was just a manufactured blonde pop star.
