A senior couple could save as much as $700 to $800 a year combined This baffles me to be honest In France on "common" cares like cavities, tartar removal, root-canal work and tooth removal we're refunded 70% of the price making us spend only from 10 to 15€ per treatment. On treatments that require more work the maximum the dentist can make you pay is limited and the State is also refunding (not as much tho but with the mutual fund you have from working you barely pay anything) This month I had a 1200€ bill in dental care and got fully refunded (I'm lucky the mutual fund of my company is amazing) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Whatever the US chooses to do it does need to change its system. The US system costs more per capita and a higher share of GDP than just about every other developed Nation to not even cover everyone so it doesn't make sense As for Canada I'd love it if Dental, Vision Care, Prescriptions, Chiropractors, medical equipment (like casts or electric chairs) etc etc etc was free and didn't belong to private healthcare But I Don't think in Canada people would ever accept the tax rates of most European Countries so it wouldn't really be possible to pay for all of that Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
