Pretty much all of her albums/mixtapes have gotten acclaim from critics to some degree lol. Not her fault that most people don't get her. She can say whatever she wants as long as she doesn't start making vanilla pop music like your faves do

Don't you guys keep an eye on music magazines or something? I'm sure every professional music reviewer who focuses somewhat on pop music knows about her and how good she is

She's been on the year-end best album lists of Complex, NME, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Noisey,... and is one of the only current mainstream pop artists to crack the 80+ category on Metacritic. So yeah, people who know something about music and keep an eye on it know her name and know she's one of the pop artists to watch.

This is also complete bs. You need label money to back you if you want to make it big, that has nothing to do with talent Most pop chicks, incl. Gaga, signed 360 deals that almost secure mainstream awareness if not success automatically, purely by the amount of money that's thrown at their promotion. Charli's signed with labels that have a lot of artists to promote and don't have the kind of financial resources to focus all their time and effort on one artist who's gonna make it big.

But that also leaves her more free artistically to do what she wants so it's not even clear who's better off in these scenarios
