Just report those rude replies. Arguing with those people won’t bring any good to you or to this thread.

Again, false. If I just leave all of these false or misleading posts to stand people who genuinely don't know Charli might walk out of this thread thinking she's a flopping rude c-nt :air: When they read my and others' replies next to it they can leave with a completely different impression that's realistic and flattering

But I dont see her as a touring artist... I mean, shes barely known. She should be more appreciative that someone of Taylor's calibre is giving her a platform rather than saying the croud is too juvenile.

You'd be surprised. Being in the PC music fandom, people usually anticipate seeing her live, especially since she performs so much unreleased material

I said she’s ungrateful and she is. Many people would kill for the opportunity to perform and promote their work in front of millions of people and she is here bashing those fans. Sorry but she kinda is ungrateful.

:rip:

Come on. She wasn't. This is Pitchfork :ladyhaha: Which Taylor fan was gonna pick up that magazine, read the whole article and then accidentally find out she said that?

She said she's grateful. Can we stop calling her ungrateful now?

But I made this thread :emma:

In fact you're the one going off-topic here :whitney:

Hence should have expected all kinds of response. Especially when it is someone bashing one of the most favored star. You can't help it. Not like they would change their mind or care at all after  you replied them if they are not into Charlie to begin with . Most just want to drop their first thought.

And I don't. I am just suggesting you need to cool it with quoting everyone replying to your thread. That's all.

That's fine though... people can post their thoughts, just not factually incorrect claims :emma: Is that really asking too much? :oprah:

And, once again, she did not bash Taylor.

I didn't quote everyone, Jesus. I only quoted the people I could give a worthy response to that drove the conversation further.

This is also complete bs. You need label money to back you if you want to make it big, that has nothing to do with talent :ladyhaha: Most pop chicks, incl. Gaga, signed 360 deals that almost secure mainstream awareness if not success automatically, purely by the amount of money that's thrown at their promotion. Charli's signed with labels that have a lot of artists to promote and don't have the kind of financial resources to focus all their time and effort on one artist who's gonna make it big.

But that also leaves her more free artistically to do what she wants so it's not even clear who's better off in these scenarios :emma:

360 deals dont always secure mainstream attention. You could be talentless, have someone craft your art for you and then soud terrible... the label will drop you even on 360 deals :rip:

Someone like Iggy Azalea or Chance The Rapper who are independent artist are more successful than Charli. Just because she is signed to a label who also has artists like Katy Perry on their roster does not mean that they struggle with time to promote her. If she her music was better and if she was more popular, she would get the same time + money as Katy does. No quality music means less support from label.  For labels, its an investment. They know with Katy that they are gonna make their money back, and even profit. But if you gave Charli the same, it becomes a gamble for the label as her music isnt of quality and her fanbase isnt strong enough.

But how big is the 'PC' fandom? Not very... Charli's most well known song is probably Boom Clap which is not PC at all

Her work with SOPHIE went unnoticed and personally sounds just sounds like noise... not into that genre at all

Then why is she getting consistent professional acclaim and even more acclaim than her peers? :air: Pitchfork is calling her the pop star of the future and you're saying she's not delivering? :ladyhaha: It's fine if you don't like her but don't make stuff up. Are you actually saying Katy makes better music, the eternally critically bashed pop star whose albums will be remembered as the worst of mainstream pop? :rip: (and I love Katy so don't come at me, but it's true and you know it)

Charli is a gamble for investment because she doesn't necessarily make on trend radio friendly pop  That's the simple reason. It doesn't have anything to do with quality... Do you think Gaga would've been promoted as hard as she was by Interscope if she debuted with Marry the Night or Shallow? :flop: Of course not. So I dunno. I just think you paint a very misguided picture of the music industry and of Charli.

Sorry I didn't mean to hurt you guys ....

I mean... the taylor curse will get ms. charlotte so I'm not bothered. Also I couldnt attend the tour cause she went to like 3 countries or some ****. I also remember people saying the age range was quite diverse. + Taylor started in 2006 so if you add 12 years to fans who were 5 years old you get 17. even if they became a fan with speak now or fearless those fans are teens now..

It's not her audience, so should have thought about that before saying yes. Her fandom is more sex-crazed bottoms than anything else so whatever...good luck.
