Another shooting in Ohio bar, multiple dead

Police confirms: 9 dead, 16 injured. The gunman, as of yet unidentified, was killed by police forces who were coincidentally patrolling the neighborhood during the incident. They were able to kill the suspect within 60 seconds, preventing many more casualties. No police forces were harmed during the gunfight. The suspect opened fire on his way to a local bar at 1 AM. He wore body armor and wielded a "long gun" with multiple rounds. He appears to have worked alone, despite early rumors that an accomplice fled the scene by car. The suspect's motivation is still unclear.

This is the third gun violence incident in one week, occurring just hours after 20 people died and 26 more were injured in a gunfire massacre in El Paso, Texas. On the 29th of July a 19-year old boy started firing at people during the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California, killing 3, including 2 children, and wounding at least 12 others.

My great uncle lives in Dayton.  The family’s trying to get hold of him on the phone; he’s older, so he’s probably just asleep, but... yeah.  You can’t go anywhere these days without a psycho of some sort getting a gun and butchering you and your family.
