Many other artists buy tracks/beats. I'm not saying one is better than the other. But hypothetically, IF Gaga did buy the odd track every now and then, what song(s) do you wish she had gotten her hands on? Examples of songs would be something like "Hands to Myself" (Selena), "Work" (Rihanna), "Sorry" (Beyonce). Songs like "Blank Space" (Taylor), "Shape of You" (Ed), "Royals" (Lorde) are NOT examples as, like Gaga, they are created by the artist from scratch. Edit: just looked up a list of songs written by other artists and yeah, nothing. Maybe I Do Not Hook Up written by Katy Perry for Kelly Clarkson wouldn't sound terrible... It's kind of impossible to tell who buys tracks anymore since nearly every artist likes to contribute a tiny bit, even those who don't really write, and with credits these days even the smallest suggestion usually warrants credit. A lot of Joanne involves heavy collaboration and songs that were created before Gaga even heard of them (perfect illusion, come to mama for example) and same with ASIB, till it happens to you. Donatella was also a beat and complete song with different lyrics and vocalist before Gaga reworked it with Zedd . A lot of ARTPOPs beats and music were created without Gaga ♥ Kindness Police.
