Yes, they are. Some say Before I Cry isn't there but some explained it's the chords the plays one time at the piano and other than that everything is there, with her vocals. Have you seen the movie? :selena:

I highly doubt that Interscope paid more than $500,000 to Promote Shallow

Are you working in the industry or...?

I've seen it almost 10 times (the last time being tomorrow) and I still didn't catch the Before I Cry moment. Meaning it's clearly not enough to make people interested by the song… other than that yes, all the songs have at least a short moment to shine in the movie/credits

Well excluding Out of Time which is originally an instrumental there are 17  songs with vocals and one played with chords, it's basically the entire soundtrack. :laughga:

Schizophonic

because it would still be a hit and would block upcoming gaga releases.

What did they do to promote Shallow? A banner on iTunes for like a week, a spot in the TTH playlist, two weeks of "power ratation" in the US (which wasn't too forced since the song had already taken off) and two TV performances. It must be expensive but it's just nowhere near Born This Way's promo

I didn't say otherwise:shrug:

I just wish Before I cry had a true moment, same for ITA which wasn't in the movie itself

So, basically, nobody can come up with a reason that makes enough sense to stick.

Her unreleased mega hits drive me crazy; but, why work so hard for 6 years to build back your reputation, write an incredible soundtrack for an Oscar-reveled film, only to let the moment I thought we were all waiting with her for - the moment when she was relevant and popular enough to score a #1 hit - pass by?

Sorry, but we are far too removed from that Oscar performance to blame LG6 for her team not releasing at least two more ASIB songs by now. ARUTW, ITA, or INLA should’ve hit radios the next week with full backing and promo.

A legacy has to mean something. Accolade has to mean something. She killed to get people to hear her talent; why didn’t she care that they heard the soundtrack she created when they were begging? 3 top 10 hits from ASIB would be the final nail in the “flop” argument. We were robbed And the lack of a single convincing reason is even worse.

ARUTW should have been promoted with Shallow like dual single or something, with a few live performances. I honestly thought the Jazz & Piano shows would feature ARUTW & Is That Alright, and I honestly would have bought a ticket.

Really wish Gaga & Bradley did a mini tour for ASIB like the Dive Bar Tour so all the songs got a few live performances and could have been included in the encore version of ASIB on Blu-ray.

Hoping Bobby does a bit more for LG6, and releases special editions, and puts out lots of footage of course coinciding with Gaga's health.

They could do a better job with managing her music for sure. It's crazy how they didn't use to momentum of ASIB/Enigma to promote her new music yet.

Because unlike the Little Managers who think they know what constitutes a hit song, Interscope has clarity of mind and good taste in music, and they know that ARUTW is just a bad song in general. :reductive:

Well it’s a cute hit here in Brazil. It’s always playing on the radio! And many people know the song (though I’m not sure if they know it is a Gaga song)
