AmericanxDream 2,049
Saw this on ATRL, but the thread got closed because the mods there are biased in favor of the Arianators. It made my blood boil when one of the Arianators actually had the audacity to claim that Gaga once made fun of JonBenet in a song. I was just like, sit your ass down. But yeah, I'm getting sick of Ariana making stupid comments like this and getting away with it. She never learns her lesson and I'm surprised that she hasn't been cancelled, especially after Donutgate.
NCgaga 4,324
People wait on things to be offended about. It’s a joke- wasn’t that funny but it doesn’t deserve her coming online and telling the world she is ****ed up.
imitalian 3,163
This cancel culture, fake-wokeness and over reacting to harmless things is SO OPPRESSING. I swear you can't joke about anything online. Was that joke insensitive? A little bit. But it was clearly dark humor and an inside joke between friends. And JB Ramsay it's part of pop culture now, like it or not. Dont act surprised when all the celebrities will come to social media just to announce something to sell and not give an opinion about anything cause they're too scared to say the wrong thing. HausOfMark 4,279
it was just a joke and someone is always going to find a problem. no matter. -Mark
HotLikeMexico 5,248
So when can you make jokes about something like this? Is there a time frame? It’s been more than 20 years since this happened and yet it’s offending people, people that weren’t even born yet and probably didn’t even know of her till now tbh. I feel like you can’t make dark jokes now because everyone is walking on egg shells as of late. Meanwhile we ALL think of them and laugh on the inside. It’s really not that serious. It’s funny. I'm sure if we had access to ur social media we would find 'problematic' jokes here and there and if cameras were around u 24/7, I'm also pretty sure we would find you doing something 'problematic'. We're all humans, it's not like she ever said racist **** and then again i'm pretty sure 99% of human beings have made racist comments in their lives at least once, let's not act like hypocrites thank u
MonsterAura 548
She shouldn’t have apologized. I hate when celebrities cave and give in to the mob
ladylinners 485
I've made far worse jokes than that. Sure it was in bad taste but we all make dark jokes. But there is also a difference between friends making jokes in person (or in private DMs) and what you publically write online.
