hey i'm not judging btw. the belgian and dutch are flops too when they get to choose who represents them. like anouk said when one of the best voice contestants ever got eliminated: "what an idiot nation. it's like letting the people choose our esc entry" and she's 100% right. 

I think a huge reason why Sweden, for example, is so sucessful at Eurovision is that they have more than one show to find a song.

That way they can make sure the songs click with everyone. Also the production of selection is stellar as well, a lot of our songs this year suffered of cheap and lazy staging.

Also, Sisters had an actual effect going (the spinning stage) which was cut from Eurovision which I still can not understand at all :air:
