@FfFfFfFF One of the catchiest songs but somehow still falls flat. Those pre-chorus vocals backed by drums are the best part.

@Hades - Unpopular opinion but this was never single material. I always think of it as a strong album track but i have mixed feeling about it.
@HausOfHarlow - What an opener! Love the rock vibe it gives off. 
@MonsterMom - This song evokes such strong emotions when I hear it. She pours her souls into it and it shows.
@IrishMonster - (this took my breath away the first time I heard this)
@Enzo- should've been a single, beautiful way to start an album, so powerful
@Ally Campana- A solid start to the album. Should’ve been lead single.
@Inferno- this was a grower and has become the one song off this album i go out of my way to listen to. she breathes some pop life into the whole dive bar rock/country vibe of this track and somehow makes me live for it.
@A Hybrid -  I love the way she uses her voice here and the instrumental is killer too.
@Davian- Perfect opening song!! Could have done great as single.
@huttont - love the vocals and it’s really catchy. Should’ve been the lead
@imnotyourbabe10-  A good introduction song and it worked well for the tour opener.  Kind of sets the tone     for the album and I like how it lyrically points out one’s imperfections but acknowledges    that there’s always heart involved.
@Guillermo Tello- It's a great opening for the album and a delicous song overall. One of my favorite lyrics too. But I don't like when her voice starts to raise at the end.
@ryansamonster- Couldn’t have picked a better album opener. This song perfectly encompasses the vibe of the album and tells an autobiographical story of Gaga’s early days. I love the reference to Bowie with the “young, wild American” lyric

@AndiGaga - One of my most listened Gaga songs ever! But wrong choice for the lead single. Doesnt change the fact that i love it 
@Hades - I still can't get over how dirty this masterpiece was done. One of my fave Gaga songs of all time. That key change is LEGENDARY.
@HausOfHarlow - An interesting lead single. Why do I have a feeling she'll never perform the song again? 
 @MonsterMom - I have to be in the mood to listen to it because it is a little chaotic.
@OpenHeartedMonster- I like the fact that the lyrics can be adapted to many kind of situations even though it's about love. This and Million Reasons were the first tracks I fell in love with.
@Enzo- Perfect lead for the album, say what you want to say but that's the truth
@Ally Campana - I love it but it would’ve been better as an album track.
@Inferno - its a loud manic mess that sort of kind of grew on me... I think i appreciate it more in retrospect solely for its contrarian nature but do i think they should have lead with it? no. its gaga going way way too hard for such an empty song and i think that is what creates the disconnect for its listeners.
@A Hybrid-  I love Perfect Illusion as its own thing but I don’t think it fits the rest of the album.
@Davian - Best Gaga lead single and that’s one that. I fell in love right away and it’s still so fresh.
@huttont- deserved better
@Guillermo Tello - The best ****ing production of the whole album and probably the best song committed. 

It feels rushed at moments, I can't lie, and I don't know if the key change is the best decision, I think it is just when you're on the mood.

The song is magically-mysteriously perfect. The lyrics are beyond fun to sing-along and relatable. What else can i ask for
