Lol I think this is the first time I've heard a LM say they didn't like the Born This Way cover. Kind of shook.

The motorbike one?:wtfga: sis it's been ripped to shreds every time it's been mentioned on this site since 2011 lol.

Personally I like it though, it's fun and weird and kind of 80's metal-ish.

She premiered it on the screens of one of her MB2.0 dates in, like, April, when she was doing the Born This Way encore. People lost their m i n d s like people were going on and on about how it must be a joke, or something.

I think it was a pivotal factor in creating the "Betrayals" Theory, if anybody remember that.

3 points in and ready for more

Regardless of whether it’s old news to fans, pushing back new releases farther away from what was an unexpectedly 2nd-career high seems so nonsensical if it wasn’t done for the sole purpose of allowing the ASIB era clean up. I have to come to terms with the fact that  she missed so many great potential smash singles from other eras, but shes literally tossed away about 8 Grammys because of how badly the soundtrack strategy was executed.

Had “Shallow” been released weeks later, it would’ve swept this years major categories. But they released it during  competitive season, and held the soundtrack until after the deadline for what now seems to be no reason.

Leaving aside accolades, a ton of time, talent, and work went into ASIB soundtrack and to not let songs like INLA and ARUTW reach the GP is insane. Both would’ve cemented her “Whitney” moment, charted top 10, kept her relevant to the GP until LG6, and relevant to this year’s Grammys.

There’s no doubt ASIB is a better body of work than the train wreck of a field this year and yet even nominations aren't lose to guaranteed.

just not sure what this entire blackout was, I guess.

Girl we know lg6 is around the corner. It's been teased to death and It's clear that a new era is/was planned for this year. I just don't see the point in wasting anymore time on ASIB. Aside from us, nobody cares about the movie at this point, like come on. It came out last year. It's an old movie at this point. Gaga hasn't done anything to promote it in the last few months. Trying to add something onto it now would make no sense. Also I don't think we need to worry about lg6's success. The GP has never been more thirsty for new Gaga material than right now. She's at her second peak. That's why I find it concerning that the album release was already pushed back earlier this year. It really doesn't need to be pushed back even further :poot:

Probably not. But let's get this clear. The Gp are thirsty for ASIB not necessarily the new album. People care about the film and the Bradley relationship gossip aftermath

They already done that. With all the different versions of the ASIB Soundtrack. With the movie being released with an encore version. With the movie being released on all types of DVD. With the movie being released on HBO. With the movie being released on Netflix AUS.

We have had enough

I know that NOTHING on LG6 will top ARUTW

You know what, I’ve kinda been ignoring how much ARUTW is overrated on this forum but it has to stop if it has come to this point.

ARUTW is a basic piano ballad with pretty lyrics, all of Gaga’s lead singles so far, hell wait, ALL OF HER SINGLES are better songs than ARUTW.

Tbh I really think that Gaga and her team do care a lot about the Grammy's and I am pretty sure they are aware that ASIB could get an AOTY nomination. Maybe they are even trying to win when they release ASIB worldwide on Netflix and might release an Encore Edition with Clover on it on its 1st anniversary.

I think anything LG6 related could come with Haus Laboratories and they could be waiting until after the Grammys cut off eligibility period.

can we finally stop talking about ASIB? :poot:

It's almost been a year at this point. She has her Oscar, she was the acclaim, she made the sales, she got the number 1's, it's OVER. Yes it was amazing but it's time to move on.

It's time for a new era, new ideas and fresh concepts.

Also I'll take Gaga's (sometimes messy) experimentation over people writing songs for her any day of the week lmao

She coul've had another top 5 with ARUTW :madge:

"The more she lets professionals do their jobs the better the execution."

Way to expose yourself as a fan of her success and not of Gaga herself :air:

No offense but people like you I consider to be toxic for the entire fanbase :vegas:
