What he said is horribly wrong and he should be fired, but its not anti semitic.

There is a war between Jews and Palestinians, being happy that Jews died from the outcome of the war (self defense war) is not anti semitic. If America and Russia went to war, and an American celebrated 4 Russians being killed from the war, its not racism, its being happy that your side retaliated successfully.

If he was happy that a random Jew living outside Israel died, then that could be anti semitic.

He works in communication and media, he should have thought of another way to word it then, his own mistake

Yeah which is why I said he should be fired even if he worded it the right way. Celebrating the death of civilians in a war is a horrible thing and what terrorists do, but I dont think its racist.

If he said "Israeli pigs" it would've been different and your post may have applied but he said "Jewish pigs". How can that not be anti-semitic/racist?

On another note though, I don't think he should be let go or he should resign FIrst of all: eight ****ing years ago lol. Second of all: his political opinions have nothing to do with his job as a photo editor, it's not like he's a journalist or whatever.

He could've just distanced himself from that tweet and he should've been fine imo.

In a context of war, if an American says we just killed 4 Russian pigs, is that racist? insulting people you are literally at war with is not racist. Maybe im wrong and biased as an Arab but I really dont think the guy is a racist from that tweet. But it is literal terrorism to say something like that.
