I'm from The Netherlands. It has been 8 PM and it's still 35 degrees outside. Thankfully there's some wind outside now but in general, the weather has been unbearable. I'm thankful that I don't have to work outside and that I can sit in front of my laptop, with a cold drink next to me.

I live in the hottest area of the Netherlands were the record got broken and it was indeed 40+ at most. According to the official source the Dutch record is now 40.7.
