Russians are extremely homophobic and the government is supporting the homophobia.. I think I remember reading about a singer who went missing (he was gay) and the government did nothing about it.. Apparently he was killed

Was just thinking the same! If we can take refugees from other parts of the world then we should be open to LGBTQ refugees from all over the world.

Yeah I remember that story, here it is:

He was abducted and killed but authorities tried to say that his own family killed him. Then the government used a body double to show the he was still alive but he’s been gone ever since

Yeah taking those refugees isn't going as smoothly as you'd think. Half the European countries are not taking them. They don't wanna take them and won't, especially in middle Europe the politics are turning pro-Russia and pro-Chinese and every single country has at least one neonazi party in parliament. I don't think taking in LGBTQ people would go any other way.
