"June 2019 was Earth's record warmest June in 140 years of temperature records, according to four separate analyses, continuing a warming trend that has 2019 on pace for one of its warmest years dating to 1880."

Climate scientists predict this July is  on course to be the hottest month ever.

"If the trends of the first half of this month continue, it will beat the previous record from July 2017 by about 0.025C, according to calculations by Karsten Haustein, a climate scientist at the University of Oxford, and others."

Humanity does not deserve this beautiful planet. Am I the only one who genuinely wishes with every fiber of my being the destruction of our civilization and society due to climate disaster? It can't come soon enough. Crank it up, Mother Earth.

I really wish there were more nations (looking at the US in particular, but there are also many others) that are willing to uphold very strict and very forward policies regarding the effects of energy consumption, waste, and climate change. That includes holding large scale military operations, corporations, and even consumers, strictly accountable.

Like, the climate change will affect everybody eventually, but it currently is affecting a much more vulnerable demographic (equatorial, poor and coastal, Pasifika peoples) first.

It's weird how this is coming out and it's been pretty decent here in LA (depending where in LA you are). It was HOTTTTT last year here, in the triple digits some days.

In Romania it shows as "record warmest" but It wasn't even that warm and this month I felt like it was one of the coldest ever it like barely even touch 30°C when usually there were like 35-37°C in the last years

I really hope Trump is held responsible for not taking climate change seriously. He should get a tried in front of court for that. It's a crime against all life on earth.

June in my area of the UK was definitely below average / colder. Compared to last year where it was much warmer.

It’s so funny how money could literally solve this crisis.

For example: the Australian government stated it will cost 6.7 BILLION DOLLARS to clean the Great Barrier Reef. Ummm, no it doesn’t. Money is literally a made up concept that we use to purchase something of value.

Climate Change and Global sustainability isn’t about money anymore. The rich and governments need to take action. They are the only ones who can stop this. However, all they care about is what is filling their pockets with cash; so we will sadly continue to crumble.
