Pacify Him

Idk if this is a coincidence or are they really creative f*ckery because they got the idea from Sophie’s Choice and the kid’s name is literally Sofia.

At least she got to stay with one of her parents.

The asylum system is oversaturated. People always complain but they don't know ANYTHING about it.

There are 800,000 immigration cases stuck in courts. Actual asylum seekers have been waiting for their cases to be heard for 5 years.

And the sad truth is that many of the fraudulent asylum seekers skip their hearings altogether. So they're only contributing to the backlog which actually hurts legitimate asylum seekers.

And Obama himself said poverty and crime are not grounds for asylum. The system is really broken:

Which has nothing to do with being cruel to a three year old.

What is exactly cruel? Sending one of her parents back?

By this logic, anyone with a child should be allowed to come in here regardless of the legality of it.

He asked her who did she prefer to stay with here in the U.S. Of course the wording of it sounds like the agent was having fun doing it, which is not necessarily true. The media always tends to demonize them.

What if he sincerely wanted to know who the child would feel more attached to and would want to stay with her?

She is a toddler. Any person with a sense of humanity and intelligence knows that a three year old is not remotely close to being cognitively or emotionally mature enough to handle a decision like this one.

By the way, they are all legally here, as they were asking for asylum. Whether they get to stay, or not, is left up to a judge (by law)...not to a three year old toddler.

The fact this has to be explained to someone on here.... GGD never fails to sink lower.
