Yes, it's "CrissPC Free VideoTube Downloader" called i believe, don't download that, it will install something called "Relevant Knowledge" on your PC which is some kind of malicious software that spy on you. And you can't remove that easy, i did it through MalwareBytes by restarting my PC.

I'll do that. My anti-virus is not working though. There is one Microsoft Security Essentials that works. What about the videos and thank u! :)

I did full scan with Security Essentials, it didn't find anything. I'm not sure how that works but maybe it checks for viruses only and "Relevant Knowledge" is some kind of spyware... I recommend using MalwareBytes for spyware.

I downloaded that though. WHat should I do with the videos I downloaded from that software?

I uninstalled CHEISSPC but how can I check if something else has been installed?

PS: That software was cool though. Like the interface and all. Its sad that it was bad for the computer. :(

It's not the video downloader itself, it's "Relevant Knowledge" that was installed along with the video downloader. I think the videos are fine.

Go to Start Menu --> Control Panel --> Uninstall a Program or Add/Remove Programs (depends on what windows you have) and you'll see all installed programs, search for "Relevant Knowledge"

That's good, now check in Program Files, if you don't find anything than you probably don't have that nasty program.

If that is the case then I shouldn't have unistalled it? I didn't find it anywhere.

PLUS this YTD always downloads on the highest quality?

It's good that you haven't find anything, but after what happened to me today i don't trust that CrissPC downloader, maybe it targets only specific windows, of it installs a spyware with different name for different users or maybe it installs after some time to avoid user noticing it or i'm just being paranoid :flop:

But never less, you got to be careful, especially with free and unknown software

You are right though. THANK YOU.

It is just that it had a more better interface. BUT who cares this works. I HOPE THE QUALITY of 1080p doesn't differ though on both? AND this will stay forever right? It won't expire after a while?

No, you can use the downloader for free as long as you like, of course if you want to upgrade for faster downloads and extra features it's up to you.

Okie Thanks.

AND ONE LAST QUESTION: I downloaded Roar from that Criss in 1080P it was 132 MB , in this it is 94MB?

I noticed that difference in size, but i don't really have answer to that, perhaps it's the way they are ripped or compressed  Haven't noticed significant quality changes.

I found what you meant by RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE. :toofloppy:

I downloaded that CrissPC again because it is working better for me as I am using a proxy to use YouTube (banned here). Because that ROAR video got stuck on 66% on YouTube downloader.

THAT RELEVANT knowledge thingy comes during installation I just simply declined. that is what I did before too though. :smh:

Could be. But now CrissPC is not downloading videos. I shouldn't have uninstalled it. :(
