How did songs like this not make the cut when songs like Hypocrates and State of Dreaming did? Hypocrates is about how she refuses to listen to a guy telling her who she is, it fits more than State of Dreaming. When the album just got released, Marina said she recorded 21-22 songs and the ones that didn't make the album would be on some complete edition. I know other people who feel this way (and they're also Marina fans, hmmm), that they're not really living, and I wonder if there's any explanation for this psychological phenomenon. Is it even really classifiable as a phenomenon? In any case, this song captures that spirit perfectly. I actually think I have Truman's syndrome or something where I actually think life is like the Truman Show (a film starring Jim Carrey - a must-see).
