This. And it's not like they aren't promoting her at all, but she needs more smart promotion. They need to choose a song that they believe in, and push it somewhere. Enough of this releasing singles left and right, and after they don't take off by themselves, moving on to the next one. They already went through so many songs with hit potential.

On that note, am I the only person who thinks that "Starring Role" would blow up US radio? I think it has the potential to be huge in the States.

I agree. I play Marina's music at work all the time, and all my coworkers love Starring Role :legend:

I think that a lot of songs off of Electra Heart have hit written all over them, Starring Role being one of them. Like I said in my previous post, the problem isn't the music. The issue here is that the label isn't standing behind the songs :/. They can't just release a song to the radio, create a video, and do a performance or two and go "Ok guys at least we tried" when it flops. A prime example of how this situation should be handled is a 2007-2008 Gaga trying to make Just Dance take off. Interscope stood behind the song all the way because they knew it was destined for number one from the beginning. Had they just created a video and book a performance or two then called it quits, do you think that it would have taken off? I'm thinking that it wouldn't have. Haha Marina's label needs to take note of this because I'm tired of watched single after single flop.

Yes :legend:

When I saw her live.. I got her to sign my physical copy of Electra Heart, the one with the European tracks on it, such as Living Dead, and I asked her why she didn't include it on the US edition but she either didn't hear me, or didn't answer..

Anyways. I'm glad there is someone on here who thinks this track is of :legend: status... :)

She had talked about the radio edit in an interview and said she wanted the word "b---h" to be a gum popping sound
