REALITY

Wow. This is much lower than I expected...

Personally, I thought the trailers looked okay, but this seemed to me like a shoo-in for good reviews. I almost saw this movie as an "Avatar" type movie in terms of its special effects.

It's a stirring reminder of what can be achieved with all the talent (and money) in the world, as well as a cautionary tale of what can happen when there's no vision to bind it all together.

You can't just mess with a masterpiece that all of us still feeling attached too.. it's a big part of our childhood.. like many times I just find myself singing the songs.

Also, it mostly look like a Discovery channel movie with the Cats parody dub from Youtube.. the lack of emotional expressions is really destroying the dialogues and the songs

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

One of the reviews:

Financially this cat's in the bag. Cinematically, though, "The Lion King" reminds me of that "Sweet Smell of Success" line delivered by Tony Curtis: "The cat's in the bag, and the bag's in the river."

Oh wow.. I didn't expect that.  I mean, it's a wholly unnecessary remake, but it can't be that  bad, can it?
