MR was big in Italy, in the US kinda as well, but looking at the rest of the world it wasn’t kinda meh  

Sorry but Alejandro is way bigger than TEOG, Million Reasons AND Applause (world wide). The song has been on power rotation for at least 4 months and everybody recognizes it. Million Reasons isn't a smash hit, it's just a descent success

Absolutely. At this point it’s easily bigger than both Just Dance and Born This Way. 

Shallow definitely gives her a more well-defined Top 5. Telephone always used to get lumped in with her top 5, and felt out of place.

Yes, this is very true. While some songs were global smash hits some others were particularly big in some countries and a little less in others. Alejandro was a monster hit in countries like Italy and Spain, far bigger than Born This Way or Just Dance.

Alejandro was a huge global hit, but sold less WW than TEOG and Telephone. Million Reasons was obviously a local hit in US. Applause is pretty much on the same level as Alejandro now (since it's been in GTA V and everyone knows it from there...)

Also Paparazzi sold more than Alejandro and TEOG, but Telephone outsold them all WW.

Everyone thinks that her biggest hits are those that are played the most in their own countries...
