Bon Appetit rising to #2 and having NO EFFECT elsewhere (Spotify, iTunes) means it were bots or the video was put as an ad. The song had no reason to explode in views suddenly two months ago, it wasn't performed anywhere nor did it have any promo. Normally if an old song explodes on YouTube, it also jumps in Spotify streams and sales (people see it/hear it in a movie, on a TV show or whatever causes this resurgence and some watch the video on YouTube, some buy the song, others stream the song Spotify). So since it went #2 - and need I remind you Taylor's Me! was #1 that week - it garnered MILLIONS of sudden views but it had no reason to. So OBVIOUSLY some shady work was done here. Maybe they weren't bots but a lot of people claimed they saw it be played as an ad before a video, so perhaps that was the reason. Whatever the reason was though, it wasn't natural. That's just logic.

Guys... Gaga’s earlier videos alone out weigh anything Katy has done. I like Katy a lot actually but I can’t with the “more than Gaga” thing I’m seeing haha. Gaga’s videos are iconic and if she to Wendy’s it down for 2 videos that automatically makes her bad now? Lmao

Gaga hasn't gone above and beyond with her videos since 2014. John Wayne is almost an exception, but it's still not on the level with everything from TFM, BTW and even Applause and G.U.Y.

I’m sorry but Katy deserves much more the Vanguard than GaGa. If GaGa stayed constant in her videos maybe it would be her, but we can easily said that she is not in the competition anymore.

365 video is good too, but NRO is dull and doesn't have replay value.  I think i am being too harsh, she is a good candidate for vanguard award

Joanne era was less Gaga more Stefani, and sure the MR video was bad, but John Wayne was still amazing. Let's not suggest that her videography is no longer good since, because she's had iconic moments. 

It's not just PI and MR. Her videos are also suffering because she has good ideas, but poorly executed (see G.U.Y./John Wayne/etc)
