But yeah, her stans try to deny Cardi her Blackness (which is so stupid, and Cardi tried to school some of them on being Afro-Latina) or claim people are being ageist/racist if they defend Cardi or criticize Nicki and it's just tiring. Edited: She's not wrong that there are double standards in how white artists and Black artists are treated, but the small inference she deleted wasn't even from an actual article but a stan account. And that's annoying—that she addressed a legit problem, in a roundabout way, based off a f*cking stan tweet and most likely did it to deflect attention (much like her Cardi thing) from the criticism she's receiving for BET and Saudi Arabia—not because she wanted to address the actual double standards/white privlege of the media.
