SJAG 1,597 Posted July 4, 2019 Share Posted July 4, 2019 Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted, but after seeing all the comments about HAUS Beauty, I wanted to share my opinion too. I already talked about Haus Beauty on GagaDaily, specifically why it isn't, in my opinion, a good idea. A few months passed since I posted my thread and some of you really shared some very interesting ideas. I think all of us expected the makeup line to really show the GAGA. The pictures that leaked today were a total disappointment. They could literally belong to any brand, and that's the last thing I was expecting/hoping from Lady Gaga. A couple of models with some glitter on their eyes and a white backdrop.. really? You just can't compare it with the FAME photoshoot. Like, I'm not against it, it's just basic. Even though it's a relief that the brand is inclusive (a very delicate topic, also considering the obvious comparison between FENTY and Haus Beauty), it lacks originality and it looks... uninteresting. Sarah literally puts some glitter on Gaga's eyelid and calls it a look.. and don't get me started on that failed creative-artistic-whatever eyeshadow attempt. I really hope the pictures that leaked were outtakes and that Gaga will ultimately surprise us. I also did a quick edit, something for fun just to see how the pictures could look if edited. One last thing, just a reminder that this is my opinion so don't start with all the "ShE CaN Do wHaTEVer ShE WanTS" Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

If that makes her happy, then so be it. She’s a human not a machine or a puppet. If she thinks it’s better for her doing what’s she heading right now, then we cannot do anything other than give full support as a little Monsters. What we can do is suggest her or even show some amazing fan arts that might inspire her for Haus Beauty like the one you did above. Not only that, but even if they are, these photos are not totally finished yet. Your edit very well could be something we could see in the finished producted; we just simply don't know yet. She also can do whatever she wants to do. Gaga has proven for far too long now that she will do whatever she feels comfortable with and is passionate about. If she wants to make a makeup line, then more power to her. Obviously this seems different than her perfume line because here she seems genuinely excited about working on it. Just let her live. But yes we all know Gaga s visuals in general are not what they used to be. Lets give this a chance. Remember most of this site thought ASIB movie was a bad move? Yeah. I know she can do whatever she wants, but there's a lot of money and work involved in make up, she's literally launching a whole line of products and she can't let it flop just because "it's what she wants".
