6 months would be the very very low end of the spectrum for rape and 20 years is the very high end of the spectrum for simmilar crimes that involve some kind of product tampering which is the category this was put as

 

Most rapists will not get only 6 months if convicted (especially if it was full out rape) and this girl is not getting the max 20 years that would typically be reserved for a company messing with products on a large scale

 

This girl will probably get the minimum 2 years and if she's eligible for parole she will be out even sooner

It still represents the disparity and lack of sense that the American judicial system has. I also could have used something innocuous like marijuana possession or any other non violent drug offense, which can still get you years in prison. My point still stands.

I'm in management now but still retail and had to climb a bit. I've seen people do crap like this and SOMEONE has to clean it up.

OT: serving a jail sentence for this is absurd. Make her pay for the ice cream, apologize to the store employees, and stand her ass outside the store for a whole day with a bag of crackers. Allow customers to come up, lick one, and ask if she wants to eat it. Shame and embarrass her nasty self, maybe she'll grow up a little
