Of course she was the main reason the movie got awards, but im talking about the promo rollout banners Youtube ads etc it was huge even here in México, gaga's team doesnt have that kind of promo.

I've never said that she is a terrible actress, she's amazing but its frustrating how her team messes up a lot since 2011 (single choices, promo, cancelled collabs and videos, wasted promo slots, the whole ARTPOP era etc)

She deserves way better..

Yes but all of that requires promo, and good timing, which warned had, and as we've seen  a LOT of times gagas team lacks.

Well im a fan that has seen her crumble and break her hip, not to mention a LOT of questionable career choices like the r kelly collab and stuff.

She deserves the world, and her team is not that sharp a lot of times, all the things she's achieved its mainly because of her talent, but if she had beyonce's team for example it would be even better.

 

Anyways im done with this thread people are so rude im not even attacking gaga, besides the point gaga likes her team (friends) as it is so yeah, none of my bussines i guess.

WB had nothing do to with Gaga's appearances outside movie festivals and promoting the movie on social media and tv. Gaga's music related stuff, appearances, interviews, performances etc were ALL handled by her, her team and Interscope executives.

I have the impression from the leaked photos that it might still be again a play on the Lady version  of Stephanie (light make up, more demure) and the Gaga version of her (edgier and darker), a bit like the Tudor commercial.

And how do you know she isn't being pushed into this by management or other close people in her life with undue influence? I do not question her motivations, I question the amount of control she actually has in these decisions. We often find out YEARS after the fact that she was not 100% "in control" of these things we thought she was (music videos, products, endorsements, partnerships). She is more empowered now, it's true, but we truly do not know for sure. It's not about fan priorities, it's about contradictions in what Gaga says about business vs. music.
