To me it feels inauthentic. She's entering an extremely competitive market where there's more chance this will fail than succeed. Her launching this when Tara was around would have made more sense because her makeup was striking and uniquely different which would have served as a great basis. If she comes out with something basic she'll get dragged and it'll be over. If she's going to do beauty I want it to be interesting. I don't know what context those images are in, obviously they've been intentionally released, but they're not doing it for me and "Battle for your life" sounds really cheesy... That’s why she has ultimately been successful. If she worried how every wannabe influencer or critic perceived her she’d be too afraid to do anything. I can respect that taking chances is what ultimately made her successful, and it's not to say I don't 100% want her to do it. I want her to do it but I want it to feel authentic to her as a "brand" which is something uniquely interesting, and not something with her name slapped on it. Fame perfume and even those earphones by Beats felt on point for her. I would be disappointed if it was something basic as she's far from that.
