The red hair is what lives on my imagination, but surely i can watch the movie and like it anyway, and see Ariel as different character from the previous stories. Nothing wrong with that. I mean Ariel has distinct look and that look has been associated with her for years now. They should have casted black woman for Ursula and it would be more fitting IMO considering the role’s characteristics and mannerisms or Sebastian. Ariel just doesn’t make any sense.If they wanted to go with black actress then Zendaya would have been a better choice IMO. I don’t know. I just don’t see it honestly...
