That’s just because Obama was a better candidate and ran at a better time to be a democrat then Clinton did in 2016. So no, it’s not the fault of Bernie or his supporters (who at large backed Clinton) that Hillary lost. It’s her own fault for the most part.

People seem to forget that Hillary won the popular vote. No one is saying that only Bernie supporters were at fault. One was that she was an unpopular candidate. However, if you are a Bernie supporter who didnt vote for Hillary in those 4 states, you are also the reason why abortion and anti lgbt laws, tax cuts for the rich, the normalized of white supremacy, the caging of children happened in the last 3 years in US.

Dont make the same mistake again if your fav doesnt win the primary. Thats my point.

Lets not act like this is a one sided thing both sides are stubborn ****s. I probably hate some republican congresspeople as much as democratic ones. Theyre both to blame for not getting **** done. That’s why we should have term limits and things to incentivize them to make things like they should have their salaries stopped during shut downs

They’re not both equally to blame. Republicans obstruction during the Obama administration was unprecedented. Democrats aren’t perfect but for **** sake McConnell refused to even give Obama’s court nominee a hearing. I don’t think you can fairly say the democrats are bad as the gop. Even now, the democrats aren’t treating Trump as badly as the gop treated Obama.

If ur any person in those 4 states, that’s the case. The Bernie part is not necessary.

And the popular vote, unfortunately, means nothing.

Then its simple. Bernie should have also been in the news for the same thing. 14 % will vote for Bernie, but only 9% of black voters will vote for him. The fall is similar to Pete.

And I think that people who attack Biden or Pete or even Bernie on some sensibile subjects are playing  your card. There are real racists and homophobes outhere. They arent one of them.  Dont make comparasions like that. They are ugly.

Then it sounds like your gripe should be with news organizations, not Progressives. The Chicago Sun is not a Progressive news outlet.

I think that shutting down criticisms of Democratic candidates so that “the party isn’t divided” is a pretty ugly card to play. A card that you aren’t afraid to use to impede a Democratic process that has been going on for decades.

The caging of children was started in Obama’s administration lol.....

And as far as I know was there only like one or two antiTrans in military laws. Which were pretty reasonable. They just said things so that people didnt get reassignment surgery under military benefits

This narrative I saw it first on Young Turks. Now it has just gone mainstream.

Just because you saw it first on TYT doesn’t mean that’s where the news broke originally. Your bias against Progressives is so blatant my lord :rip:

Again all news outlets are criticizing all of the candidates in various ways, it’s not my fault that you have blinders on and can only focus on demonizing Progressives.

This article is a great summary of what he’s doing to the lgbt community, it’s  not just the trans military stuff

Oh people. Go on Young Turks and see  all their articles on Pete. See who is demonizing who.

And you dont get it. I follow these people and not just Young Turks because I agree a lot with their point of view. Seeing them going so dirty was a huge dissapoinment. They tried to push a lot of bias stories about Pete. One managed to go mainstream.  Im not happy about this like Im not happy by the Pocahontas Warren story pushed by republicans. It is as dirty even if they called themself progressives.

Yes digging up facts about other candidates is playing dirty and demonizing them, give me a break.

I get it completely. You have a problem with the way America does it politics and you have a huge bias against Progressives while ignoring what everyone else does and will continue to do. But go off sis! You’re only further proving my point with each of your posts :applause:

Lion Heart

When you have Kamala, Warren, and (yes) Biden running, why would they throw their support behind Buttigieg? He has screwed up two issues regarding police/ black lives in a row: the recent one and the one from a few years ago where he fired the black police chief Daryl Boykins.

The people that used the sad reaction to this just doesn't like the truth. You are correct, you would expect for a community that has gone through and see the worst of humanity they would be the biggest supporters of the LGBT community. Yet, they are the most homophobic.

Most members here love to keep their rose-colored privileged lives and think they’re right. It’s sad that they can’t see reality :messga:

Actually in some states, the 3rd party guy Johnson (or Johnson/Stein/others) got more votes than the difference between Hillary and Trump. If people voted with their brains instead of chasing a stupid fantasy that a 3rd party is ever going to win, we probably wouldnt be stuck with Trump atm.
