I feel as though most of the democrats this time are running off of identity politics.

I dont understand why no one supports John Hickenlooper. He has a history of getting things done and seems to be a very rational guy with a history to back his plans

They don’t support him because he’s a milk toast centrist

Thats all so cool and I wish good luck to all of them. Bernie and Warren supporters better not forget in case their favs dont win that their values wont be better protected by Trump, like a lot of Bernie supporters did the last time and made possible abortion, anti lgbt laws and the tax cuts for the rich.

More Hillary 2008 voters voted for McCain then Bernie 2016 voters voted for Trump, so this crap about Bernie supporters really should stop. It’s not Bernie’s fault she lost.

You’re kidding right? Not only is Bernie being attacked from Republicans he’s also being attacked by corporate democrats and establishment media. Stop being disingenuous :rip:. And Bernie didn’t do that poorly with African Americans in 2016, he won over a majority of them as well as Latino voters under the age of 35 in several states.

I respect Warren as well. I’d actually love for her to be Bernie’s VP or his Secretary of Commerce if he wins. But if Warren secured the nomination instead that would still be a win in my book.

Yea, but we should have bigger expectations from the people who present themself as progressives. They show that they are more of the same.

Why it is even news that Pete, who is 2 - 4% in the polls right how, is at 0.something with afro-americans?

African-Americans are extremely homophobic. Are we surprised?

Maybe it’s more because Pete just had a huge fail in his own city and they don’t want him as their nominee

That’s just because Obama was a better candidate and ran at a better time to be a democrat then Clinton did in 2016. So no, it’s not the fault of Bernie or his supporters (who at large backed Clinton) that Hillary lost. It’s her own fault for the most part.

Maybe he should spend more time talking about those achievements and less time telling us to reject socialism. We have Republicans for that.

You sound scarily similar to Republicans when they criticize Democrats for not liking racists, sexists or homophobes. “How can you be the party of tolerance when you yourself are intolerant to others???”. Yikes sis.

It’s news because it’s relevant information concerning whether he appeals to black people or not after he had a disastrous town hall? Why does that even need to be explained?

Explain to me why you want socialism? I’m genuinely curious

Wouldn’t a centrist be best for this country tho? We obviously can’t get jack **** done with both sides currently veering in the opposite directions of each other

Here’s the thing, when he says “reject socialism” he’s really saying “shut up about medicare for all, we have to be moderate to win” because no one running is a true socialist, Bernie is the closest thing but if the terms were actually applied correctly, he’d be a social democrat.

He can **** off with his moderation.

Then its simple. Bernie should have also been in the news for the same thing. 14 % will vote for Bernie, but only 9% of black voters will vote for him. The fall is similar to Pete.

And I think that people who attack Biden or Pete or even Bernie on some sensibile subjects are playing  your card. There are real racists and homophobes outhere. They arent one of them.  Dont make comparasions like that. They are ugly.

If u like centrist policies, that’s fine. But in my view, a progressive would be best for the country.

Furermore, ur saying this as if a centrist would be able to work with the gop, they wouldn’t. Bipartisanship is dead and we’re more likely to have Bernie’s entire campaign website implemented then it coming back. Obama tried so hard to work with them but they refused.

Lets not act like this is a one sided thing both sides are stubborn ****s. I probably hate some republican congresspeople as much as democratic ones. Theyre both to blame for not getting **** done. That’s why we should have term limits and things to incentivize them to make things like they should have their salaries stopped during shut downs
