They saved the ACA in no uncertain terms from complete dismantling. And we have Nancy Pelosi to thank for all of this. She’s the biggest corporatist Dem out there and she’s done leagues more to move us towards progress than Bernie or Warren. We need to elect the right people, yes. He's coming to Nashville in a week or two and the local gay bar/club owners are having events for him - one being a closed door $1000-to-attend event at the bar, and the other being a $100 a ticket "townhall" at the club. Also, his support from African Americans is at ZERO PERCENT which is a huge problem considering African Americans are the largest constituency of the Democratic party. And I don't blame them either for not supporting him what with his history as Mayor. Fact of the matter is how can we count on him to take care of things as President when he can't even care for his own city and has failed at his one job as Mayor? I for one will not support him until he accounts for all this through ACTIONS and not mere words. I also really don't care that he's gay.
