Buttigieg raises more money than Sanders in Q2

Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign manager Faiz Shakir conceded on Monday that South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg likely raised more money last quarter than the Vermont senator, but claimed the discrepancy is due to sharply different fundraising strategies of each campaign.  

"I think he'll probably have more money raised than we will," Shakir told CBSN's "Red & Blue," referring to Buttigieg. "I think a lot of that has to do with the fact of how he is raising his money."

"Bernie Sanders does not go into closed-door high-dollar fundraisers and solicit money from corporate executives at their homes," he added. 

On Monday the Buttigieg campaign said it raised $24.8 million from 294,000 donors in the quarter that ended Sunday, the largest haul of any 2020 Democratic candidate to date. The average contribution was $47.42 and the campaign currently has $22.5 million cash on hand.

So far my heart isn't sealed for any Dem candidate but if I had to choose one I'll pick Buttigieg.

The only reason this is making headlines is because the Sanders campaign raised the most money in Q1 by far. 

But now that the race is picking up, the cash is pouring into everyone's campaigns.

Find me any major donators who isn't billionaires who owns corporate, or a firm. Or government owned such as US Army. Sanders also have taken corporate money himself. But it doesn't matter to me, they gotta raise funds somehow. So long those corporates leaning the same direction as these Democrates views, such as Microsoft or Apple, among others. 

This is a smear campaign from Sanders part and hence problematic.

Senator sanders takes union pac money. Considering his long history with unions, I find that appropriate. Calling somebody out for being corrupt is not a smear—it’s called making a contrast.

It is smear campaign when they don't  even have valid proof on what they have claimed. Lots of this spoke person says begins with "I think.." which means they are making assumptions, not facts.
