That is illegald, plus, I guess Scooter not afraid of bad karma. Have at it then. :diane:

Also, this is why buying physical release is still important.

This isn't a thing lol. iTunes literally updated their whole catalog. Tons of albums people have purchased aren't showing up in the store, but theyre under the purchases. This includes Gaga albums too. .  Notice the lack of reviews on all of these albums, as well.

EX: Bought Joanne on release, only shows up in purchases, the album itself only has 14 reviews

I searched reputation and it came up fine.  However, if someone has already purchased the music how can they require you to purchase it again? If it were a CD it's like they went to your house and stole it.

You know what used to be normal: segregation of black people (it even was legal), women were not allowed to vote (it was legal too), deny people of their rights just based on their sexual preferences (it was legal and still fighting in some places for it to stop). Just because something is "normal" or "legal" it does not make it right or just. Don´t be stupid and please grow a better conscious.

I know you ain't comparing segregation to this right? :saladga:

no matter what is that ridiculous mess, taylor live well and will always live well and wealthy dw for her, don't bring crimes against humans or serious subjects for defending a pop star, you can defend her but you cant compare it to this

what's normal about re-publishing old  albums to make it seem like people don't own the albums anymore and scam them into buying them again?

Wait so you still own the music but now on iTunes there’s a separate edition or sth? I really don’t get this.

I just checked Apple Music (which, remember, is not the same as iTunes). I still have all her album in my library, but songs that I had downloaded to my phone are no longer downloaded. Weird.

As for everyone saying it's normal to delete albums and republish them, NO IT IS NOT. This is a money grab and middle finger by Scooter and nothing more. He owns the label. He would make money off new purchases without ever having to delete and republish the albums. This is literally to erase her digital numbers for streams, purchases, and downloads and make extra money off fans willing to re-purchase them.

My name isn't Timmers

Money is one thing, but I think to Taylor it’s really about her art. Justin B prob doesn’t care because I doubt he spent days and nights penning his own songs - do y’all think he remebers every song he has sung? I love Taylor a lot as a song writer because there’s a meaning behind each song; each song is inspired by her personal life. If you go to Spotify, she explains every song in details which even Gaga won’t do so very often. They are more than popular money making song. Imagine yourself writing a nice poem and you don’t even own your words. That’s terrible. Sadly to some people this is nothing more than a common practice. Yeah I guess this is how we treat real artists these days.

People can multitask. Quit nitpicking. Their point is what is “normal” or “ legal” varies because of the time period and politics.

Here’s another example: payola used to be a legal loophole to have a number 1 hit single.

There happy?
