It seems like Taylor's options were limited, re-signing with Big Machine would just enslave her to the men again - producing 6 more albums just to get back her first six all while knowing the label would be sold anyways and she would probably not get that deal. Her old label didn’t even let her buy back her own masters. She didn’t get the same option. I think she’s just upset because of the fact that Scooter’s artists have been bullying her. But it’s not like she will file a lawsuit or whatever. She has moved on and will let the past goes. Of course they weren’t just going to give her the masters without something in return but the fact still remains she had the opportunity to acquire them before anyone else and she opted out, which is her own fault.
