Mother of God... I knew Leehom Wang was talented but I was completely unaware of that set of pipes on him. :shocked:

Fantastic but ****ing god, why can't people get that chorus straight :what: :madge: This is like people singing the post-chorus of BR wrong every single ****ing time.

I can do it very well in her key too. :ally:

Spoiler

An octave down. :what:

Spoiler

It's actually great, she and I have very similar vocal ranges and passagios at the same part, just an octave apart. That's why it's a lot of fun for me to sing her songs. The high part of PI that's the highest she can belt (E5 to F5) is exactly an octave above the highest I can belt in my chest voice (E4 to F4). On occasion I can hit an F#4 in my chest voice and that's the very highest she does (F#5, "to me!" before WDYDT's second chorus and "until" in Paparazzi). I have a falsetto after that, just like her head voice that she has started using more of lately (hooting sound in Diggin My Grave). At the very bottom, I can sing a D#2 to D2 comfortably most days. Her comfortable lowest is around D3 (the lower harmony in ARTPOP "a hybrid can withstand..." and then the lowest note in Dope, Lush Life, Bang Bang).

By chorus, do you mean the "I'm off the deep end" part? The rhythm throws many people off. It's actually harder than it may feel. It's easy to get consumed by the song.  I thought I sang it right and then I listened to a recording of myself singing with an accompaniment. :huntyga: I was off at a spot or two.

She actually comes in slightly late too in the chorus for the second verse. But being the jazz musician that she is, it works perfectly for her.

And if you mean the "in the sha-ha-sha-ha-low" part :huntyga: I don't get it either. No one sings it right ever.

Also, do people not sing "whoa oh oh oh oh" in BR right?

He seems talented, but during the higher part including almost all the chorus , he is singing with his head voice which quite easy and a lot of male singer can do the same..

@derpmonster

It's that part. The fast little melodic and rhythmic variations in that melody. Usually people (I've heard) just freestyle and come up with a completely wrong melody, usually in those "o-o-ooh-hooh, caught in a bad romance". Most people just skip those fast little notes and it drives me crazy :what:

Exactly this :saladga: . He has an amazing voice and it's one of the best covers I've heard so far :tony: . But damn, is it really that hard to sing "In the Sha-ha-Sha-ha-llow, in the Sha-ha-sha-la-la-la-low"

He sounded great during the verses but then the chorus kicked in and it sounded weird and whiny...
