Let's be honest, 300$ does nothing in New York.

Rent alone is 3k+

Also while a crime is a crime, the father should've been more prudent with his son since he knows he suffers from mental illness. There are ways to go about this that are less confrontational.

That wasn't the full extent of his true allowance tho if u read the article in full

His rent was paid for by his parents as was basic things like parking tickets

The $300 a week was side money besides his everyday bills

Even in NYC $300 a week ($1200 a month) is a lot of money if it's just spending money

Confused tho he was basically being given $15k a year if it was $300 a week

i mean you can’t really live off $15k a year so I’m assuming he he has his own job?

im assuming he didn’t want to have a career and live off his parents so when his father cut the money he went beserk

He was getting it clased to $300/week...he was being given more than that so his income was more doing absolutely nothing but being an entitled grown adult barking at his mom to fetch him a sandwich and soda...what a douche he deserved to go to jail and rot

Read the article more carefully

The $300/week was in addition to them paying bills for him like rent and his parking fines

So it's clear at least rent was covered in addition to other possible things...

So when u add that in, $300/week is not too shabby

Yes $300 basically for discretionary spending is a lot. And it's not like he couldn't get a job ...

This is sad. He shouldn't do this. Anger really blinded lots of people into doing fcked up sheiße! Rest In Peace for the dad. :(

$300/week is small tho. :diane:

When I was in uni, beaides my own income, my allowance given from parents per week were bigger than that.  And that was 15+ years ago. Imagine having $300 of allowance/week for today, where prices of things had been hiking and standards of living have changed too.

300 was a reduction...1k was his original stipend.

His dad gave him every last economic ounce since birth...then....in an attempt to coax independence,  he began to reduce it...

Dood never left the womb

like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. My words give a clue, look inside to see whats true

This is one of my fears of becoming rich :selena: You can't trust nobody...not even your own damn KIDS :selena:

Also I'll never be rich so I really should not worry like that :selena:

Honestly if u end up rich u should get a house by the beach far from society on a hill or something, and talk to ur dog all day, with no kids, no husband, and no  maids, no cooks, nobody, you alone and you die alone in peace, and all ur friends have to be richer than you, so that there are no jealousy no risk of being murdered
