JusKeepBreathin 19,311
1996 to 2006 is my favorite Madonna decade. Up until "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." -Martin Luther King Jr.
androiduser 7,438
Early 80's (the first album) Early 90's (Vogue-Blond Ambition-Erotica-Girlie Show), then I dislike the mid 90's, and love late 90's (Ray of Light) Mid 2000's (Confessions)
The Child 18,997
The 90s. I mean the artistry, the controversy, the quality. I was born in 98 and I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not but when I was born Frozen was the #1 song at the time and it is my favorite Madonna’s song. ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

gumzy3000 7,357
The 90s hands down. Erotica, Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light are her best work to date. They are so experimental, different and unique. She started this decade kinda of on a rough patch due to Erotica but ended it high with Ray of Light. Nonetheless, both albums went on to acclaim although it took the GP decades to recognize the former. Bedtime Stories was just awesome and Live to Tell was a huge hit that is still played in a lot of Adult Contemporary Radio stations today. trolly troll troll
Lord Temptation 11,209
The decade that has these dancefloor classics: Papa Don’t Preach Into the Groove Holiday La Isla Bonita Borderline Lucky Star Crazy For You Like a Virgin Yeah I like Madonna more when she wasn’t political and she knew her audience - us on the dancefloor, not the press. She wanted to be a dancer way before wanting to be a singer. Even her 80s ballads are slow dance masterpieces. Whatever happened to the streetsmart, romance rebel of 1982-1988??? That said, her 1991-1994 miniera is my next favourite, followed by 2004-2009.
