I’m not there so I don’t know. I had to work. My friends are there. They are three Hispanics and two whites. They didn’t mention not seeing black people, but they said there were plenty of Non- Americans and Hispanics there. Maybe it’s not a priority for Black Gays to want to go to stonewall or see Gaga speak. I wish all gays could appreciate her and how much more she does for the community than most pop or Rnb stars.

We have to quit pretending that all gays are under one umbrella. In my city of Charlotte there is Pride, then there is black pride and now Latin Pride. White and Hispanic gays love to travel. Maybe that’s why they have the largest representation at NY pride.

I mean, yeah, but it still undercuts the irony of it all, especially considering the news that a Black trans woman was heckled at the Stonewall Inn yesterday.

If the crowd is not diverse it's people's fault, literally everyone got a free ticket, you just had to go and grab it, they cannot do magic if people don't show up lol. And on the organisation's side, you had Bob the drag queen, Whoopi, Alicia, half of the speakers, etc. as part of POC representation
