Getting to know Bjork is to know a way of thinking music that will change you forever.

I love her work, she's definitely my example of a true musician that has a gift to create beautiful ideas in music. The true weirdo of the world, and we stan a goddess.

I agree, something I've noticed is how she can make me feel emotions that don't exist :firega:

I think she is talented, creative and ingenious. :classy:

Songs like Joga, Black Lake, Stonemilker and Losss are among my all time favorites songs.

SEXODUS

truly one of the biggest visionaries in the music industry ever existed: she’s different in the way she sings, how she presents herself, how she thinks and most importantly in the way she’s able to put that into music. it’s unlike anything that’s out there and i’m sure she, alongside madonna and queen and michael jackson, have shaped the industry into what it is right now.

that being said... when she started, both as part of the sugarcubes and as a solo artist, she was way more “friendly” to the casual listener, and to be honest that part of her career is where my heart lies with her music. debut, post, homogenic and vulnicura contain the timeless songs i’ll take with me to the grave.

as the time passed she curled more and more into her enigmatic and intricate self, to the point it’s become very difficult for me to be drawn to her latest body of works. that still takes nothing to the absolutely genius mind that she is. she’s one of the very few people i’d like to have a conversation with.

i just love her.

A musical genius, always pushing the boundaries. Not easy listening but it's great to have someone as widely known and respected as her who can sell that stuff for the masses.

She's so creative. Biophilia is so amazing in every way and it still fascinates me every time I listen to it or read more about the concept and her creation of own instruments. Also the storyline in Vulnicura gives me chills every time.
