Yeaaaah democrats tearing each other apart!

They're doing god's work digging dirt on each other so that Trump uses it against whoever is nominated later on

As Joe Scarborough the debate was a disaster for democrats. I'll laugh my ass off if Trump wins again. It's what democrats deserve.

I mean.. I would rather them choose an electable candidate this time.  No one wants Biden except Republicans.

Yeah totally...

Republicans want the moderate biden who can steal independent and moderate republican vote from them...

I don't mind someone else winning. But if Biden becomes nominated, all of this will come back to bite democrats in the ass. Ads will be running repeating what Kamala Harris and others said about him.

And then you'll be crying again on November 8th when Trump wins a second term.

How dare Democrats criticize each other in a PRIMARY race? The horror!

Biden was horrible. Debates were great. Joe can suck it.

Women were amazing both nights.

Warren and Harris. Congrats!

REALITY

Kamala did a lot to dig into him last night. Right now I have my eyes on her or Warren.

This is what debates are for, to narrow the field and prepare for the general. Debates are always going to bring out the weaknesses. It’s better to get them out months ahead than to wait until the general. Everyone has weaknesses, some more than others.

This is how the process works.

No that's not how it works.

It's supposed to be a policy debate, not a debate about what one said about 30 years ago and such trivial things.

That's how it worked in the republican primaries in 2016. But apparently democrats are now sinking as low.

People aren't interested in these yelling matches where people are demonized for something they voted for 30 years ago (again he was in favor of court-mandated busing).

Democratic primaries in 2016 were way more civil and idea-focused. This debate was a disaster. Democrats will keep tearing each other apart and help Trump.

Again, don't conflate policy debate with ad-hominem attacks. Yes there should be a debate about each one's program, except that's not what happened last night. Some nominees were just there to attack the frontrunners no matter what. It was more politics than substance.

When you create such deep divisions in the party that are unnecessary, many voters will be encouraged to NOT vote for the democratic nominee later one. Debating with fellow democrats should be like debating within family, not with adversary. Keep the adversarial hostile tactics for Trump, not your fellow democrats.

But again, democrats are losing it. The party is sabotaging itself.

Biden should not be the nominee, and thank god last night highlighted the many reasons why – out of touch, lacking his former dexterity, unable to recognize his own shortcomings, and offering a pretty weak argument as to why he's best positioned to go up against Trump.

Harris and Gillibrand offered far sharper performances. Really did not like how much this debate focused on personality over policy tho

It’s a policy debate, but your past record is there to be examined and questioned, as well. It will be put under a microscope during the general election, so this is the candidate’s time to get it all out there and formulate good answers for any weaknesses.

Republicans did the same. The same has been done in past Republican and Democratic debates.

People are interested in voting records, and no one was yelling.

The people on that stage were there to be serious candidates. (except maybe harness love lady) I heard plenty of policy. Sorry that your guy got questioned, but it was going to happen eventually. Biden better start getting better answers now if he wants to hang on to his support in minority groups.

Kamala epically finished off his campaign in last night’s debate. It was freaking amazing to watch. He doesn’t deserve to be the nominee with his horrendous track record. Good riddance.
