My question is are independents really buying the manufactured "crisis at the border" bullshít or are they more informed voters. Are they more afraid of immigrants changing our way of life or say Trump's 2020 plan to cut Social Security by $85 billion, and cut Medicare by $845 billion and cut Medicaid by $1.5 Trillion dollars. Border authorities routinely handle illegal border crossers using the civil immigration laws, which allow many different ways to deport migrants who don’t have legal papers. Prosecuting illegal entry crimes places huge burdens on the federal courts, taking resources away from prosecutions of other crimes like narcotics trafficking and money laundering.
