Europeans invaded the world with slavery and assimilation. Muslim people are immigrating legally, they’re doing literally nothing to convert Europe. Pretty obvious that one is moral and the other is not.

I'm not saying that they are invading Europe. I'm simply saying that it would be bad if Europe became muslim majority. As a queer person I dread the thought of that happening.

Not all Europe is Western, not all European countries accept Western way of life and democracy.

So yeah it does not have to be literally every country but generally speaking, this is what western culture respect and want. For example, there is Arabic culture but not every single Arabic country is this way. Arabic culture is very islamic but Lebanon is a Arabic country that is majority Christian so they are very different from 99% of Arabs.

What about Islamic imperialism?

You mean ISIS or something :rip:

Islamic cultural spreads due to political conquests ended in the 17th c., I have no idea what you're talking about in a contemporary context.

Ok, I want to imagine in the future if Europe is the poor continent and Africa is the rich one and the magnet of refugees and globalization. Would they accept European people and christian and non-muslim refugees? Do you know how the muslim countries threats christian people?

Don't throw them all on the same boat though. Syria and Malaysia display nothing but great relationships between Muslims and Christians. It's best to name specific things instead of adding more weight to the meaningless "Muslim countries", "Muslim word", "Islam" etc. clichés.

Two countries of how many? 50? There are always exceptions. Also, I read the whole topic and some of the opinions here... Europeans invaded the whole world, they deserve this ''revenge''. People, what's going on with you? Do you live in Europe even?

There isn't a revenge going on though, besides anticolonial politics and, yes in a lot of countries anticolonial tensions are deserved :emma:

My point was not to say that those two exceptions clear the name of "Islam", what I'm saying is that it's ridiculous to to have these complex conversations with clichés. These "what if" scenarios to convince people don't do any good.

only if you’re contributing to society whilst respecting the culture.

By contributing to society I guess you mean having a job but that's not always easy to find it. People globally know know that well and just because of it I'm sure that the "respecting the culture" part would be enough for most people even if one don't "contribute" yet. The thing is the big majority of the people coming to a new country do respect the culture but a few don't and often nothing is done about that.

But, they are responsible for these people being refugees by funding terrorism and creating wars so I dont care. Europeans also vote for these people so..

Very true for the responsibility of these western governments but I wouldn't say Europeans are complicit like that.

The wars nearly always happened once the leaders are elected, often after promoting peace and talking about helping the development of third word countries etc in their campaign ironically... :/

Obama gained votes for saying he would stop interventions if he became president for example. Talking crap about the french Lybia intervention is also a good way to gain votes in France for a politician. Same thing about the critic of the western funding of terrorism, dissing it gonna make you more popular with the voters.

The thing is people want a president who will not launch or take part in wars and really fight terrorism but once they're in office they don't respect their campaigns positions of course so to me Europeans are often fooled too  . :/

When Europeans invaded every land they set foot upon (the entire world almost), and raped, stole, and permanently disrupted the political environment in all the areas it was ok.

Some migrants come to Europe: Oh my! Globalization will end modern civilization!

And what about European countries that never had any  colonies such as  Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Switzerland, Iceland, Ireland...

maybe the term "Europeans invaded" isn't that appropriate huh:oprah:  or you should be a bit more specific

Just like Tibet is for Tibetans and not neo-colonial Han chinese.

But yeah refugees should be welcomed and be treated fairly. So he's wrong on this one. But in his defense, he's a huge cultural/political figure kicked out of his homeland by foreigners, that **** sucks. So maybe that's where he's coming from  but yeah his statement is vile. so much **** from an enlightened man

I used to believe that until the majority of people voted for someone like Hilary Clinton and attacked everyone who does not vote for her. They also attacked Trump supporters for being racist islamophobes yet they LITERALLY voted for Hilary Clinton who is the biggest Muslim murderer and promised more of it. If they were tricked, then why dont they protest the president after he lied? Today, all democrats are encouraging Trump to go to war which drives me insane I cant understand it. There is no excuses anymore there is way too much information about this.

Sorry I get frustrated talking about this subject specially at the moment where my country can go to war with Iran any time now :(

Or maybe it should be obvious I wasn’t referring to them if they obviously didn’t colonize?

Several European nations invaded. Therefore Europeans invaded. Semantics lol.
