I think the nightclub footage that made the final cut is more glossy but not as vehement as the footage that was shown in the teasers, other than that, the video is super effective at conveying its message, the room scenes are well acted and captured, making the emotions and message clear. Madonna pressing the typewriter’s POWER/RETURN key to then cut to footage from the protests and news, and a distracted/indifferent Madonna getting ready to have “fun” at the nightclub was a nice touch. This Also I think it's being told in reverse to depict the fact that on this matter the society doesn't move on and evolve but rather things keep happening again and again as no change is being made. I started choking up at that point. As artistic as it is, this is one of those videos that I’d need some time before watching it again because of how emotional I got.
