Awakened M 2,911 Posted April 3, 2020 Share Posted April 3, 2020 Howdy everyone! I'm definitely new to playing the franchise for the very first time this week. I'm on my 3rd day playing New Horizons, and I'm just glad I got this game. Today, I started the day with my newly built home after paying the 98k bell loan. So I'm working on saving up 198k for the upgrade. I just got the shop and museum under construction. So I wait until tomorrow to see the results. How many Bunny-theme DIYs are there? I'm tired of fishing so many damn water eggs. In case anybody asks, my island is Obsidia and in-game name is Awake. I missed out on some pretty neat villager recruits because I didn't think about it during the mystery island tours. I think I got Erik the Elk first once I was kindly informed on how-to. I'm still learning a bunch, but overall am enjoying the piss out of this game. I hope everyone is having just as much fun as I am. This game is what we needed during this quarantine. Also, this might be controversial, but is anyone completely over Bunny Day at this point? I'm tired of the constant Sky/Water eggs. I want more practical DIYs. And the fact that this goes on til mid-April. And Zipper scares me. Especially the whole zipper on his back thing and him getting mad if you sneak up on it. And how he sighs in relief when you get far enough away from him. In my experience, I keep getting Nook Miles+ objectives to catch a certain type of fish that have gone undone because I keep catching eggs instead of fish. I'm over it. She was working out in my rare flower garden and there was an orchid mantis, so I accidentally hit her and she tells me that she isn't one to not take a swing right back at me! I hate her. We made up tho, I gifted her a carp.
