GarageBand is what I use on my iPhone :) it’s easily doable and quite easy to understand its interface and tools! If you have any questions feel free to PM

After a few years of making music under my actual name, I began to grow tired of creating basic pop music. However, I felt that if I were to create more experimental and weird music I would need to create a moniker that would fit the aesthetic and the vibe of the music. That was the birth of VEDMA.

OCULUS stemmed from creating my first song under the new name, which was Blood Lust. I wanted to create a musical experience of electronic music  that was different to what was being released in our current musical climate. That’s why I use a lot of distortion on my own vocals and scream and make odd noises in the songs. I wanted to push the boundaries for a 17 year old who makes music aha.

It was loads of fun producing in my room and recording in front of my boyfriend, friends and having a load of people witness the creative process since it was all being done on my phone.

Sounds pretentious af but oh well :huntyga:

Sorry if I've missed it further up but the vocals are so clear, did you use a professional microphone for this or is your iPhone mic amazing, I'm on android so I can't relate :(

Very good work!

David’s and Gared’s vocals were recorded professionally and then sent to me to mix which was done on my phone. Blood Lust, Eat My Flesh, and In Space were recorded on my phone using GarageBand, they’re a bit unpolished. However, I kinda like the lofi, unpolished sound because I find it fits the songs more than polished and professional vocals :)

That's so cool! You've inspired me to get back in to trying things with garageband! Such a cool piece of software but I have such little knowledge in terms of music theory it's hard for me to string a piece together which isn't super basic melodically

Oh same here. I’ve never studied music or anything like that. I am such an amateur in reality. I just love music so much that I just try and learn tricks by listening to them being done in other songs or I just experiment and if I like it, I’ll do it ahahah
