Yes business-wise this would be the right thing to do probably but it ain't a cute look. especially when with her recent success he came crawling back just like this bitch now is. I cant stand these disloyal people and gaga doesnt need them. wait he came crawling back? I didn't assume him cashing out meant leaving her life too, I'm sure she understands that their professional relationship and his own investments were separate and she would know he wouldn't keep the investment sitting there forever. I dunno I just can't see having an issue with this if I was in her shoes

Edited: I completely agree that Gaga doesn't need disloyal people, but I actually think Gibson was a LOT worse than Troy and Akon in the long run. Akon also seems, at least, sincere and walked back his comments before ASIB. He also seemed to be coming from a business standpoint, and wanted to seem like a tycoon. Still toxic, but more understandable. Troy kept his mouth shut. I get people being nostalgic, but I don't get why they want toxic as* people around Gaga. People might dislike Richy's choreo, but he's been around Gaga for everyone, hasn't run his mouth in a negative way, and just isn't toxic.

Just seemed like a way to test the waters Idk her manager, the dude who signed her and a bunch of other people leaving her when they didnt see the dollar signs they wanted to see anymore wasn't very good for her as evident by the ARTPOP era (also see G.U.Y MV) Musery

And yeah, I have the same feeling as you do—I think he was trying to seem like a big as* businessman and didn't mean to come across so harsh. I still think it was kind of toxic, but nowhere near the same level as Gibson's sh*t. Also, Gaga at least owed Akon a lot—he was instrumental in her career. IMO Gibson is on another level of toxic behavior than Troy, who kept his mouth shut, and Akon, who seemed to sincerely sort of regret the way he ended his professional relationship with Gaga. Not human beings you've looked in the eye and promised your support and confidence in their dreams and the artist they are. He straight up used her. He acted cruelly and indifferent and, like Troy, deserves his obscurity. Spoiler What DID Akon say? "She's an intellectual, your honor"

Sometimes, she doesn't give it her all during dancing (which is understandable cause she takes pride in delivering top-notch vocals). And the very same choreography can look less energetic if the lead singer doesn't emulate the energy of her dancers. For example, Applause seemed flawless at the MTV VMAs and in the music video, but when it comes to other live performances, Gaga rarely exudes the same energy as in the video and at the VMAs. I can see this too. For me personally, I would much rather have the vocal, so the dancing doesn’t really bother me as much as others. I was legit devastated having to sell my jazz and piano tickets because it conflicted with school. Its my dream to see a Gaga show like that. I don’t need the dancing. ⚯͛

The older choreos like Judas, BTW, BR, etc are BK and something about the shapes their body makes and repetitive motions make them so memorable. And they incorporate lyrics or meaning of the songs. Richy on the other hand... You said exactly what I am thinking much better. BK just had that wow factor with her choreo that was interesting and fit really well with Gaga’s image. As a team, they were memorable. I think shes a shady person though, which is a shame because I would like to see what they would be able to come up with now. ⚯͛
Akiki 3,900
We have to be honest... everything since her felt... lackluster. She did most iconic Gaga's choreos... But oh well...

doppelganger 3,921
I'd rather Gaga work with some one new. Unfortunately for that to happen Richie needs to move on. All her stylists went on to have amazing careers (Matthew, Nicola, Brandon). Her choreographers however.... No shade to Richie he's fine and gave us some great moments but I kinda want something new
